From morning 'til night yesterday,

a barrage of soft snowflakes fell and blanketed the city

in a sea of white.

To spend six days taking in a city that I've longed to explore,

with two of my closest friends.

Lucky Day

The only snapshot I could sneak at the theatre today,

a stack of beautiful antique hatboxes.

I could have spent an entire day pouring over rack upon rack,

room upon room, and box after box of amazing treasures.

Tomorrow I get to fulfill a dream that many fashion lovers share -

combing through the costume department at a large theatre!

The play is nearing it's opening night and now it's a matter

of finding odd pieces to pull it all together.
